Andrew Crumey will be in Italy in May, scheduled to speak at MathKnow08 in Milan. In August he will be at the Edinburgh International Book Festival.

Sputnik Caledonia was published on 7 March 2008 in a dual format edition by Picador, with simultaneous release of a limited-edition hardback and mass-market paperback.
Andrew's short story Livacy (about a blind cosmologist) is in the new British Council anthology NW15. It was reprinted in Litro, distributed free at London Underground stations.
His essay The Public Image is in the new Edinburgh Companion To Contemporary Scottish Literature.
Andrew was appointed part-time lecturer at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in May 2007. He teaches on the MA and PhD creative writing programmes in the School of English.
